Kim is the Operating Room Nurse Manager at the Institute Surgery Center, our surgical facility here at The Waltzman Institute. She has been a Registered Nurse since 2004 after completing her bachelor’s degree and graduating Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Long Beach.
Kim has worked in a variety of patient care settings, including acute care, hospital care, outpatient facilities, and case management, and even has her Public Health Certification. She believes that being healthy isn’t limited to just your physical health, it also means being in a healthy community environment and focusing on your mental health as well, taking care of everything from the inside out.
When she is not in the operating room, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She is also a proud pet mom to a dog, a cat, and even a hairless Guinea Pig! On the weekends, you can probably find her outdoors, at the beach, or camping with a Dr. Pepper in one hand and her roller skates in the other.
